Dr Bertie Vidgen

Bertie is CEO and co-founder of Rewire, a tech startup building socially responsible AI for online safety. He is also a visiting researcher at The Alan Turing Institute and the University of Oxford, part of the World Economic Forum's Expert Advisory Group on Digital Safety, and has over twenty peer reviewed papers on AI and online safety. Previously, Bertie was Head of Online Safety at The Alan Turing Institute and has been a specialist adviser to the Online Safety Bill Joint Committee in UK parliament (2021). He completed his PhD at the University of Oxford.
