Expert Analysis
Edmund Dable-Heath, "Emerging Computing Paradigms and Future Security Threats," CETaS Expert Analysis (October 2024).
Edmund is a Data Scientist for the Applied Research Centre for Defence and Security (ARC). In this position he applies recent research in Data Science and Deep Learning to challenges in the defence and security sector, resulting in technical reports and proof-of-concept applications.
Prior to joining the institute in April 2023, having recently completed his PhD in Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) at Imperial College London, where his focus was on assessing the security of proposed PQC protocols under quantum computational attack models.
The focus of Edmund's role is in the application and the development of practical implementations to exhibit the use of recent technological research in deep learning to defence and security challenges. He also maintains a strong interest in the theoretical underpinnings of these systems, looking to formalise any understanding where possible and applicable.
