Hugh Boyes is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential issued by (ISC)2. As a security consultant he has research and professional interests regarding the security of complex cyber-physical systems, particularly where new digital technologies, such as AI and digital twins, are being deployed. Hugh has contributed to the development and review of national and international security-related standards and was one of the founding members of the BSI IOT/1 committee.
