Nii Simmonds is a Non-Resident Fellow at Center For Global Development (CGD). Nii also advises the Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET) at Georgetown University as a consultant. Nii has worked as a consultant, senior fellow, and board member in a number of capacities. He formerly worked at The World Bank Group and African Development Bank as a Senior Private Sector Specialist, where he was in charge of developing worldwide collaborations with a variety of private sector partners. Nii was the architect of the African Diaspora Private Sector Engagement initiative at the World Bank Group’s Trade & Competitiveness Global Practice.
