AI chief urges Britain to build a rival to ChatGPT for UK's security services - after Rishi Sunak warned containing artificial intelligence should be a global priority alongside pandemics and nuclear war

A report in August that was co-authored by HCHQ [sic] on ChatGPT said the technology showed 'promising potential' for intelligence work. However, it would currently only be able to replace an 'extremely junior analyst'.
